Expressive Puffins in Oils
Join award-winning artist Rosie Smith for an inspiring session of oil painting as you create a vibrant and expressive puffin portrait using the alla prima technique.
Held at Tickhill Parish Rooms on Saturday 22nd August, 2.30pm–7.30pm, this workshop will guide you through colour mixing, harmonious palettes, blending techniques and expressive brushwork to capture the character and movement of these much-loved seabirds.
Working on a generous 40cm x 40cm board, you'll receive step-by-step demonstrations alongside individual guidance tailored to your experience level. Whether you're completely new to oils or looking to build confidence and develop your painting skills, Rosie will be on hand throughout the session to support you.
All professional-quality materials are provided, so simply bring yourself and enjoy a relaxed, creative afternoon of painting in a friendly and welcoming environment.
